You are vistor # since December 29th 1995

Hello and welcome to Stan's Navy Page. I spent four years in the Navy from 1966 thru 1970. Duty stations included the USS Oriskany and NavCommSta Cam Ranh Bay Vietnam. I discharged at the rank of RM2. My son joined the Navy in 1990 and was a radioman also. He spent four and one half years in and was discharged at the rank of RM2. We attended his boot camp graduation and it was like going back in time, it looked as though nothing had changed in 25 years. my wife and I also toured his ship, the USS Princeton. The Princeton is an awsome sight to see up close. Everyone we met was very nice and seemed to enjoy showing off the ship.
I started this page three years ago in December 1995. At that time, there was very few personnal pages about the Navy. I am glad to see the numbers increasing and enjoy finding new pages. I hope visitors to these pages will see something they enjoy and maybe bring back some good memories of their time spent in the Navy.
"NEW" I have added a section on the USS Crockett PG88. Please check it out.
The "scrapbook section" includes pictures from 30 years ago and photo's of our visit to the USS Princeton. I will be adding and removing pictures from this section as time goes along.
Please sign my guestbook and come back and see us again.
